The stars are graded in bronze, silver and gold to represent varying levels of recommendation in three areas:

1. The number of testimonials the company has demonstrated to us:

2. The number of years the company has been trading

3. The number of quality or quality related accreditations the company has received

If a company doesn't have any recommendation stars it may simply be they have not yet provided the relevant documentation or are a new business.
